ASIA PACIFIC MASTERS GAMES 2023 JEONBUK KOREA

On the 23rd, the organizing committee of the 2022 Jeonbuk Asia Pacific Masters Conference (Chairman, Governor Ha-jin Song) gave a non-face-to-face lecture at the'The 3rd Saemangeum Public Diplomacy Forum' at the Jeonbuk-do International Exchange Center.

This lecture, held on the theme of “Knowing the Jeonbuk Asia Pacific Masters Convention,” was attended by about 20 public diplomatic groups operated by the International Exchange Center to increase recognition of international events.

Starting with the promotion video of the Jeonbuk Asia Pacific Masters Competition, Moon Jong-seon, head of the External Cooperation Headquarters, explained the concept of the Masters Competition, the process of attracting the competition, the characteristics of the participants, and the socio-cultural ripple effect, and had time to communicate with the participants.

In addition, as close cooperation with the Jeonbuk-do International Center's Public Diplomacy Group is important for the success of the event, we recognized the importance and decided to join forces with the organizing committee in the future.

Above all, it is planning to prepare for multilingual service support for the Jeonbuk Asia Pacific Masters Conference, a festival for daily sportsmen around the world, by establishing and operating an international exchange center and a pool of interpreters so that participants will not have any inconvenience caused by communication.

Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Asia-Pacific Masters Competition, in which more than 13,000 people from 70 countries participate, is scheduled to be held in 14 cities and counties in the province on June 10-18, 2022. It spans 26 sports, including athletics, badminton, and swimming, and anyone over 30 years of age, regardless of country, gender, or sporting status, can participate.
